Bug Description

Reproduction path:
1. create new image
2. select brush tool and draw something.
3. press 'x' on image to close it.
4. save image in a selected format.
result:
Image is not closed, not saved, the star '*' is not cleared from the image name.

can't repro. seems fixed in r55 and r56

I also can't reproduce this bug, everything works for me, after press 'x' and save, image is closed, i have a file with my image, windows title back to default

Used a file name without extension - that is the reason. Consider as a bug, but with low level.

Yes, when for example we enter this file name "test." nothing will happen (on windows), in other cases file is saved, file format and extension is detected correct.

Fix will be in the next changeset which I will send soon
