The option "Trigger only the first instance" doesn't works correctly

I use Cuttlefish with an action that opens another application when I start the browser Chromium.
So I have set the Basics tab to watch when Chromium is opened, and I have also set the option to consider only the first instance.
The problem is that every time a popup window of Chromium is displayed, or a new window of Chromium is opened, also the other application is opened again. It's like if Cuttlefish don't recognize that Chromium is already running.
I don't know if Chromium is a special case, or if the option "Trigger only the first instance" is not working as expected.

I use Ubuntu 12.04 64bit.
