thanks for your feedback. I'd love to provide a version that is fully functional in arch linux too. But at the moment I got a big project and I don't think that this feature will land any sooner than in november this year. And I'm not sure if using the AppIndicator is the only ubuntu-specific thing in the code. Maybe other distributions don't provide some interfaces I use (or provide them differently) or so...
