Bug Description
The train builds source packages one after another today instead of branching out to build them all in parallel.
Depending on the number of packages in a silo, this could greatly reduce the time it takes for the build job to complete.

Agreed this would be a big improvement.
Unfortunately it's not clear to me if any of the train code is thread safe (it runs entirely single threaded, shelling out to various tools synchronously).
Fortunately this bug was filled at a good time as there will be a major refactoring happening to get train code run by bileto instead of Jenkins, so parallelization is something i can roll in at the same time that I'm switching everything over.
Gimme a few months ;-)
