cuneiform doesn't work with .bmp anymore

$ convert +matte -depth 1 -pointsize 12 -density 300 label:"The quick brown fox" test.bmp
$ cuneiform -l eng -f hocr -o test.txt test.bmp
Cuneiform for Linux 1.1.0
PUMA_XFinalrecognition failed.
$ convert +matte -depth 1 -pointsize 12 -density 300 label:"The quick brown fox" test.png
$ cuneiform -l eng -f hocr -o test.txt test.png
Cuneiform for Linux 1.1.0

and test.png contains the expected text.

This worked with .bmp before.

Note that I have imagemagick installed, not graphicsmagick.
