This is the best alarm app for Ubuntu and I probably won't fully switch to quantal from precise til this app functions on quantal. I tried building it from source but I had no luck with that either. Hope to see this on quantal soon!

Tylor, I have a pushed up a temporary version for quantal to the PPA. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but I figured you might like to know. I'll work on getting an official version tested and submitted to be updated in the software center.
