Bug Description

I'm trying to run cubic on WSL on Win11 because it has the GUI support. hopefully it can speed my dev work. however, I was stuck in the first step because the ISO can't be mounted.

my first attempt was to load the iso from /mnt/d/file.iso (this the ntfs in windows). it failed. i guess it could be somehow somehow related to this https://bugs.launchpad.net/cubic/+bug/1944063
I though it could be a remote file system to the WSL i guess. so I went to to move the iso file to local dir

my 2nd attempt load the same file from the local WSL user home /home/username/file.iso. it also failed with the same error. i go the error msg in the console.

I am clueless about this. supposely the ios and cubic are both local to the ubuntu VM in WSL (running on MS hyper-v)

Make sure you haven't clicked on the *.iso file, which will mount it and make it unavailable to Cubic.

I'm closing this, because questions and bugs must be reported on the new site.
