Hasan,

Thanks for taking the time to create this bug report.

I suspect, you like the GUI used in Cubic Classic, because it is simpler and more elegant.

Unfortunately, I am not updating the Classic version.

I've left the "Classic" PPA available for people who are still running a version of Ubuntu older than 18.04. (These older versions of Ubuntu do not have updated libraries that allow the current release of Cubic to run). Originally, I was simply going to not offer an older "Classic" Cubic, but I got feedback that some users were interested in running Cubic in older Ubuntu releases (https://answers.launchpad.net/cubic/+question/690263).

The latest version of Cubic is not just a GUI change. There were naturally "quirks" and bugs (like the one you experienced) in the older version that have been fixed with the newer version.

Fixing those "quirks" and bugs in Cubic Classic would require re-writing the Classic version to use the ~same~ code as the ~newer~ version. ...and I have already pointed out, older versions of Ubuntu do not have updated libraries that allow the current Cubic code-base to work.

If you are using 18.04+ I ~highly~ recommend using the latest version of Cubic to avoid these kinds of bugs. The new version is a lot more reliable. It is also more secure and protects your host system from accidental changes (if there is a bug in Cubic).

If you experience bugs in the new version or find that features are missing, please let me know.

Also, lease let me know if there is something in the "Classic" version you find missing from the current version? I may be able to add it. (You can post a question here: https://answers.launchpad.net/cubic)

I really wonder. Why don't you understand there are errors in the current version?

Cubic 2020.02.62 version is works very fine in Ubuntu 18.04 i386 arch version and Ubuntu 20.04 amd64 version but non-classic latest version always make any problem to me. I think fixing Classic version is helps old version users.

And i think if adding command to "if not exists custom-live-iso folder to copy again" command is idea.

I may have missed the bug reports that you had opened for the current version of Cubic to help fix the issues you have encountered?

Please list the bug numbers and I will look at them again?

As you know, the new name of the directory is "custom-disk" instead of "custom-live-iso".

And yes,... the current version of cubic *does* re-copy the "custom-disk" files, if they were not successfully copied (although, the implementation was much more complex than you presume).
