Covergloobus requires restart to show cover

I have Covergloobus configured to start at login and to also stay hidden until i launch my music player (Clementine). I find that upon first play after launching Clementine, covergloobus will not show the cover. I have to exit covergloobus and restart it for the cover to show.

Me too, Arch 2.6.36 - Clementine 06 - package covergloobus from AUR coovergloobus-bzr

Doesn´t show cover (in rhythmbox yes) and do not refresh information when change the song, i have close and reopen it! and still dont show the cover

In Rhythmbox works OK! (but I love clementine)

Also the rates are not synced between them too.

I've just checked CG rev 318 and Clementine 0.7 from arch repos and
everything works fine
have you tried to enable/disable the checkbox in CG Clementine plugin config
dialog? (I will remove this thing later, since this Clementine bug is pretty
old and not a problem anymore)
also try running CG from console to check of there are some errors

not sure about amarok though, will check it later

I'm on archlinux with KDE 4 and amarok2 works well with the stable version on CG, but the bzr version of CG does not show the cover but I think the problem is with amarock2 because everything is working properly with exaile3 and both versions of CG.

do you still have this problems?

just tested on natty, the new package from ppa works for me with amarok and clementine, same on archlinux

one problem with clementine I've noticed is that it sends via dbus the path of an empty cover image if the cover was not found, so it looks like cg fails to find the cover, but it is actually clementine to blame for that
