I can't change plugin

Bug Description

When I do System->Preferences->CoverGloobus configuration I change the plugin to vlc plugin, but when save, the plugin returns to default plugin (rhythmbox plugin). I suspect that is about permissions, but I'm newbe. I'm on Ubuntu minimal 12.04 with kde. and CoverGloobus 1.7.3.
