Bug Description
It seems during the course of my writing the COUGAR test application that it would often fail when Compiz Fusion is running. So far it seems rather consistent and I am unsure if this problem lies in the test utility or in the renderer itself. I do know that the problem goes away if I turn Compiz off, which makes me wonder if this is a dependency problem.
Running this with COUGAR's debugactions compiled on reveals there's some failure to read the third PNG in the directory of the test utility. Though I've remade this image in an effort to see if tere were any errors in the image, I have concluded that the likelihood of it being an erroneous PNG is nil.

This bug has the potential of bringing down applications that use COUGAR while running Compiz fusion. It MUST be fixed.
