Running cortina from terminal results in
Warning: "sni-qt/5939" WARN 12:11:00.519 void StatusNotifierItemFactory::connectToSnw() Invalid interface to SNW_SERVICE

Same here. Anytime I run an application from terminal as root, I get this bug and it ignores all settings from Unity and displays the UI with tiny fonts and an uggly gray window border. Running Ubuntu 13.10 with Nivida drivers on an SSD using a gigabyte mother board with all firmware updated.

This happens on 0.7.3 version of Cortina on the Cinnamon desktop environment.
