Black on black text is hard to read

Using konsole or yakuake with white text on a black background, from the second slide the slide text is black and is therefore difficult (impossible) to read.

If using black on white, text remains legible.

When exiting, text colour remains red if an attempt was made to move past the final slide (at least, that's what appears to be the cause...).

Not sure what I can do about this other than a command line option... there's no terminfo code for "set text back to the default for text" is there?
