Bug Description

This bug is used to collect all other bugs about missing, wrong displayed or duplicated apps in gnome-app-install.

currently:

- there are 3 items for evolution
- openoffice is not uptodate
- flash plugin is missing
- ms tt core fonts (perhaps?)

Thanks for your bugreport.

I'm working on making the the menu-data better right now. This includes added "pseudo" desktop files for flash and msttcorefonts.

The openoffice update will be done when the desktop files are extracted from the archive. I'm also runing a "garbage collection" now to see what desktop files are no longer found in the archive.

The extraction from the main archive is still in process. I found a bug in the epoche handling.

Evolution is a bit of a problem, it ships all those three desktop files. This may require manual cleanup for now until some better mechanism is in place.

The handling for blacklisting certain desktop files is added now. I would be very happy to get feedback on more unneeded/bogus desktop files.

Michael, is there still an issue here which needs to be addressed for Dapper? The data is much improved now.
