With latest updates applied, dragging windows leaves trails. The trails disappear when the button is released.

jibel, I have two questions and one suggestion:

1. Have you changed any compiz settings, for example with ccsm?
2. Does the same bug occur if you log in as Guest?

A likely workaround:
In CCSM, go to the Workarounds section and enable "Force full screen redraw (buffer swap) on repaint".
