2010-03-10 04:18:20 AntonioAmoddio description I recently upgraded mi system to 64 bit OS (Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala). I downloaded ati drivers from the proprietary site, and thent installed the following that guide http://forum.ubuntu-it.org/index.php/topic,155477.0.html. Everything was ok with 32 bit OS, but now, every time i reboot, visual effect are setted to "no visual effetc", and, in add, compiz does not saves configuration, returning to default options every ti i re-activate effects. Those are the steps that u should try to reproduce that bug: 1) Install Ubuntu 9.10 amd64 from live cd, using manual partitioning 2) Download Updates 3) Download ATI driver 4) Install ati drivers following the reported guide ......apologizing for my english i wish you a good job.... and let me know please. greetings I recently upgraded mi system to 64 bit OS (Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala).
