Im using Lubuntu.
1. First I installed all compiz packages: (sudo apt-get install compiz*)
2. Configured compiz to show the window decoration
3. Then enabled compiz (compiz --replace)
Now and again the window decoration flickers like crazy. If I move the mouse and hover over the maximize icon the flickering stops. |
Im using Lubuntu 17.10
1. First I installed all compiz packages: (sudo apt-get install compiz*)
2. Configured compiz to show the window decoration
3. Then enabled compiz (compiz --replace)
Now and again the window decoration flickers like crazy. If I move the mouse and hover over the maximize icon the flickering stops. |

As a workaround I have disabled the Intel i915 driver (i915.modeset=0) on the grub boot loader. |

But this is not a good solution because the graphics arent as sharp without the GPU. |
