Bug Description
Often when trying to click on a window with the mouse pointer, the wrong window gets the clicks.
One way this can be recreated by minimizing a non focused window with the minimize button. Where the window was the window still gets the clicks at least where it's toolbar was. [Open two windows, activate one by clicking on it, then click on the minimize button on the other window. If you try messing around with where the minimized window was you'll see the window responding like it's still there.]
Could this be that it's not recognizing When windows have been minimized?
This bugs makes it so that I often have to go to the system tray to switch which window I'm working with, instead of just clicking on the window.
This is a very annoying bug and is still there in 0.9.13.1 !!!
Notes:
I'm using Compiz with KDE on Debian 8.
Please let me know if/when this gets fixed.
Thanks

This is still a problem now. Compiz keeps windows focused when there's no logical reason they should be. Sometimes it's a minimized window, sometimes it's a window on a previous viewport, sometimes it's the wrong window on the current viewport (such as one that is under the top window on that viewport).
This may in fact be multiple bugs (or even feature requests since sane window focus management was apparently never part of compiz).
One I think I'll file a separate report for is that compiz should *always* focus the top-most window on the current viewport when changing viewports.
