Bug Description

Hi, I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 lts with an AMD R9 290x graphics card with the latest catalyst 14.4 RC drivers and I've noticed that window resizing (normal) is very slow.
I know that this was fixed for Nvidia and Intel hardware, but there's anything that can be done for AMD?
For now I must used rectangle mode resize.

Same issue here but with Nvidia.

Ubuntu 14.04, Nvidia GTX 780m.
Tried nouveau, but doesn't yet support my card properly so I can't say whether or not the resize lag is present with the OS driver.
Nvidia proprietary drivers from Ubuntu repos, as well as the most current driver from Nvidia all have the same issue.

Resize - Normal = laggy
All other modes are fast. All other screen re-draws are fast.

Have very similar problem. Resizing windows is very laggy and unusable in the "normal" state.

Note: Resizing problems only occur on native applications, and not with applications that are run using for example, Java.

System:
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Nvidia GTX 970

Driver: Nvidia 346.35 proprietary
