2013-01-16 16:20:23 | András Ács | description | Workspaces should be separate, in the sense that windows should not stick out from adjacent workspaces. When the latter happens, it disturbs the workflow and prompts unnecessary window micromanagement. This would probably go against the Workspace Switcher's feature of free window movement and Compiz's workspace implementation but IMHO this is worth sorting out (Gnome Shell does this right). | Windows should not overlap workspaces but should only be visible on the one they belong to (à la Gnome Shell). In my opinion this would make the Unity experience cleaner; sticking out windows on the screen sides can be jarring visually. | |
