Bug Description

1- I am using unity version as follows on Quantal:

ii libunity-core-6.0-5 6.10.0-0ubuntu2 amd64
ii libunity-protocol-private0:amd64 6.12.0-0ubuntu0.1 amd64
ii libunity9:amd64 6.12.0-0ubuntu0.1 amd64
ii unity 6.10.0-0ubuntu2 amd64
ii unity-common 6.10.0-0ubuntu2 all

2- When I reconfigured the shortcuts on unity going on 'system settings>keyboard>shortcuts' using the control key as part of the shortcuts, the shortcuts don't work on first attempt.

2.1- Control-Enter -> launch terminal

If i press control-enter a new terminal is not launched, if I release both keys and press control-enter again, a terminal is not launched.

If i press control-enter, release enter, and press enter again, a terminal is launched.

2.2- Control-End -> launch gedit

If i press control-end nothing happens, if i press control-end, release end, press end a second time, the shortcut works.

2.3- Control-Backspace -> lock screen

If i press control-backspace, the screen doesn't lock up, but control-backspace-backspace locks it up. Also the shortcut for screen lock on the top right corner of the screen doesn't show the proper shortcut.

3- Because I'm left handed all my shortcuts use the right side of the keyboard, so that I can use the left hand on the mouse. Therefore i heavily use the right control key as a shortcut. This works flawlessly on kde4, gnome, xfce.

thanks,
Eduardo.
