[0.9.8 r3110 regression] Some dropdown menus become white with the fixes for bugs 862430 and 1002602 applied

I've now seen this bug reported by 2 users of compiz 1:0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1vvpreproposed2

They report that dropdown menus become white after this update.

All - If you experience this bug when using ppa:vanvugt/compiz-preproposed then please add a comment describing the graphics driver you're using.

I suspect this bug might be another form of bug 1011099. Not sure.

I am using the recommended Nvidia driver installed by jockey. (295.40)
I haven't tried nouveau yet

I also use the default proprietary nvidia driver (295.40-0ubuntu1).

I am affected by the bug (already clicked on the corresponding button). But since you requested us to provide you with our configuration, I let this comment. I use the 295.40-0ubuntu1.1 nvidia driver on Linux Mint 13 x86_64, kernel 3.2.0-23-generic, with an NVIDIA Corporation GT215 [Quadro FX 1800M] graphic card in a Dell M4500 computer.

By the way, thank a million for your Compiz preproposed PPA. It was great :-)
