minimize animation very slow in unity 3D

Bug Description

after starting skype andfirefox the minimize animation is very slow actually the whole window management seemed to be slow. I checked "top" and there didnt seem to be any unusual high CPU or Memory usage so i decided to file it as a bug.

The bug occured after these steps:

1) start ubuntu and log into unity 3D
2) start skype and empathy almost simultaniously
3) start firefox with some pinned tabs that load on firefox start (in my case google reader, Google+ and facebook)
4) experience lags in the window management

After I closed Firefox for a few seconds everything came back to normal so I believe it could be some issue with the rendering engine of Firefox or some skype issue because the firefox window occasionally turned completely white and after that I experienced permanent flickering screen during switching virtual desktops to an opened skype window.

definately connected somehow to skype. I managed to reproduce the bug by making the hidden skype window visible again from the indicator and move it around. afterwards firefox minimized normal but maximized VERY slow.

so the steps are:

1) show the skype window and move it around on the desktop (not across virtual desktops)
2) maximize and minimize firefox multiple times by draging the window to the top and also using the window buttons on the left.

the window management should slow down significantly.

Sounds like a memory leak there, can't install skype right now due to real crappy internet :/
