Register on community page is not possible

I use Linux Mint 13 and I want register me on the community page. (http://community.linuxmint.com/)
I have given a username and a passwort but I don't receive a mail for my new account.
I would like vote for perfect software and write with other LM-Users.

I have checked my junk-folder on my thunderbird but without success.

Can you tell me a solution, please.

Last night i tried to register myself with a 3 character username and the website seemed "down" when others were saying it was ok. When it finally denied my username because it was not at least 4 characters, it was hours and hours later. If there truly was a problem with filling in the form, the error should have been in bold and highlighted. Not real small text.
