When the SWAP memory is full, google chrome and my laptop (i am on ubuntu 12.04 LTS )gives no response. So i force the computer to shut down with the button power on/of.
the next starting session i have the the red circle in the Menu Bar.

first :i was looking for “a problem occurred when checking for updates” error.
i try this command :idrissi@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get update
i have this answer : apt-get: error while loading shared libraries: libapt-pkg.so.4.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
second : when i look to this page http://askubuntu.com/questions/77957/where-can-i-download-the-apt-package-if-apt-get-is-missing
and when i try this command :
