Bug Description
When I hit some keyboard shortcuts in my terminal emulator window in wrong locale and then press enter, I see command-not-found crush. I managed to reduce the error to the following example:
$ `echo 85 | xxd -r -ps`

Also happening with a copyright symbol I had copy from a PDF file.
$ export | grep LANG
declare -x LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
$ ®
