Bug Description

Looking at https://hub.docker.com/r/riscv64/ubuntu/tags, the images are from about a year ago. Also, switching to the "Overview" tab, it says "WARNING: THIS IMAGE IS NOT SUPPORTED ON THE riscv64 ARCHITECTURE".

Given that Ubuntu itself provides the riscv64 architecture since 20.04 LTS, according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RISC-V, I wonder if there are plans to provide docker images for Ubuntu 24.04 LTS?

Hi plot,

this is in our plans, yes, but it is a pending item that has already been requested at https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/704943.

I'd kindly ask you to leave a comment on that thread so that the corresponding team can re-assess the request's priority.
