Bug Description
Please consider adding "console=hvc0" to the kernel command line for cloud images.
We are working on a new machine type in QEMU called "virt" (for x86) that has minimal hardware emulation. This means it does not have an emulated UART for the serial port. We currently recommend our users modify the image to add this to the kernel command line to get feedback during the boot process.
