Bug Description
Artful image on vsphere fails to start cloud-init - the instance doesn't get configured, the logs on system do not show any cloud-init activity.

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to file a bug. I am going to add the cloud-init project to this bug and mark it incomplete. Given artful was a while ago and no longer supported, if you are still having your issue, could you provide some logs?
