default polling interval not compatible with gnocchi retention periods

Bug Description
The default polling interval in older ceilometer releases (600s) is not compatible with the low archive policy in gnocchi (300s); newer ceilometer releases have switched to 300s.

Hello James, or anyone else affected,
Accepted ceilometer into ocata-proposed. The package will build now and be available in the Ubuntu Cloud Archive in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. To enable the -proposed repository:
sudo add-apt-repository cloud-archive: ocata-proposed
sudo apt-get update
