Bug Description

[Impact]
Glance is broken when used with a PostgreSQL database.

[Test Case]
sudo apt-get install glance postgresql
* create PostgreSQL database for glance and configure glance
sudo glance-manage sync_db

[Regression Potential]
Fix now accepted upstream and in the version in trusty; also in fedora packages for migrate. Limited regression potential.

[Original Bug Report]
The problem occurs when trying to run 'glance-manage sync_db' with a PostgreSQL database.

This was reported to the Fedora BTS at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=969702 . At least Glance is impacted, while Keystone is not. I can confirm that rebuilding the current version of migrate in the cloud-archive repository (0.7.2-6~cloud0) with the patch attached to comment #7 on the thread linked above resolves the issue. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Hello Lance, or anyone else affected,

Accepted migrate into saucy-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/migrate/0.7.2-6ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!
