Split window

I use a lot vim, and the 80 column limit, so when using clicompanion in fullscreen mode, half of the screen is not used. I'd love to be able to split the window and use both sides of the screen (rather tha two windows, siilar to terminator).

I don't need all the complex behaviour that terminater has, onl a simple split will be very useful.

@David Caro, what do you mean by 80 column limit? I think currently there is no column limit, and you can split screen with vim without a problem.
