Bug Description
It seems to me that this is not the same as bug no. #623353, because it seems to refer to the function pointing to a n-th item in the list of entries. But in case you first ran a command search and chose the command out of the result list, which probably is the normal case in heavy use, this function still refers to the original list in .clicompanion2 and so it offers the wrong command.
Try it: choose the n-th command out of the list of search results and try to edit it (you'll also have to do this if you just need the code to copy and modify it without running, for the command display doesn't allow copying). The offered command is not the n-th from the list of results but the n-th from the list of all commands.
So in heavy use of clicompnion there is no chance of command editing or command copying except from the list file with an editor.
It is the same as Bug #738264
