Bug Description

According to the docs, a .desktop file can now be specified directly on an app to point to an internal desktop file (http://snapcraft.io/docs/build-snaps/metadata#fixed-assets):

    apps:
        my-app:
            command: my-app
            desktop: usr/share/applications/my-app.desktop

However, my snap is being rejected for upload currently with the warning:

    unknown fields for app 'manager-app': 'desktop' lint-snap-v2_apps_unknown (manager-app)

Thank you for the MP but AIUI snapcraft isn't supposed to pass this through to the snap.yaml and snapcraft 2.26 is going to fix this. Please correct me if this is in error.

This is fixed in newer snapcraft. Marking as Invalid.
