Indicator stops responding when other indicators active

The indicator stops responding to mouse clicks when I start Pidgin & its Indicator is added to the taskbar

The icon is still on the taskbar but completely non responsive
I'm thinking its a generic problem that happens if any other indicator icons are added to the taskbar

I have confirmed this issue not limited just to the pidgin application indicator
the issue also occurs when other indicators are active such as skype.

I could nort reproduce this so far, but I don't use pidgin and skype. Do other indicator applets go unresponsive as well? Which other programs cause this problem?

Other indicators do also fail

Appears to be an general indicator problem with unity witth responding to
direct mouse clicks.

the only indicators that seems unaffected is the mail, date, the user

I can reproduce it with HPLIP toolbox. Seems to be fixed in 11.10.

Can anyone reproduce this in Ubuntu 12.04 or later?

As this bug doesn't seem to affect any current version of Ubuntu I'm cling it now.
