Bug Description
Recently, the "gmenu" python bindings have been removed from Debian (I haven't checked the Ubuntu situation). It might be possible to use the "matemenu" module from the "python-mate-menu" package instead, but simply replacing "import gmenu" with "import matemenu as gmenu" doesn't seem to suffice.

Since its removal from Debian, python-gmenu will be removed from Ubuntu too (probably in wily+1).
It may be possible to migrate to python-gi + gir1.2-gmenu-3.0.
I have considered packaging classicmenu- indicator for Debian, but LP: #1289801 and LP: #1374557 are blockers for me.
