Bug Description
The default "cubswin:)" password is impossible to enter if there's a problem with keyboard mappings, please consider moving to an alphanumeric-only one.
Or even better only use alphabetic characters to ease logging in case of a broken keymap...
There's no real value added by the non-alnum chars in a default password known to everybody.

same issue here, with Japanese keyboards.

Yes, I think all non-US keyboards will suffer one way or the other from that same bug.
It may be workaround'able in some case, but probably not all, and is painful to say the least.
The password is widely known so there's really no value added by that smiley :)

Is this set with BR2_TARGET_
Vincent Legoll (vincent-legoll) wrote : | #5 |
Any update on that ?
I'd take & test any daily build with the password set to something usable...

Thanks
It's basically impossible to enter the password using a Portuguese keyboard, I think most non-US keymaps will have issues entering the password...
