Hi Jeremy, absolutely agree that this could have been dealt with sooner. That said, my comment was that the flaw is serious enough to be categorized as a CVE, regardless of how it's dealt with. The patch will at least offer a mitigation. Will you be asking mitre for a CVE? RH can do that once it's public if you want.
