Bug Description

This needs careful review. These are a few things I noticed, there are probably more.

According to the schema, the only required element in the request is 'ref', but several other fields are not marked as optional in the Request table.

Also, volume_type in the table is of type object, whereas it is actually a string (volume-type name or ID).

In the response example, there are several fields with the value "null" (that is, a string containing the letters n u l l), which is not the same thing as the JSON null data type (which I think they're supposed to be).
