Bug Description
Hi,
When I retype a volume from one backend host to another there will spawn about 250 new threads as well as open files that won't close after the retype is completed. The open files and threads spawns on the source machine. The volumes.log states "Retype volume completed successfully.".
Additionally: When I retype from a Ceph backend to the LVM host (iscsi) the amount of files that will be left open are in the tens of thousands but when retyping from LVM to Ceph it is in the hundreds.
Environment:
OS CentOS: 7.2
Openstack: Liberty,
Ceph: hammer 0.94.9
The LVM host:
Centos 6.7
Openstack: Liberty,
Ceph: hammer 0.94.9

I was asked to post the configuration. I can add that it seems like cinder never calls the fclose which caused problem for the whole Ceph cluster when I tried to retype a big volume. My understanding is that it wrote all the data to a single OSD.
