Bug Description

Hello,

Looking into checkbox logs in different machines (at least three different ones), I've seen the following lines:
=========
Running command: gconftool-2 -R / --config-source xml:readwrite:/home/ubuntu/.gconf

Failed to run command: Failed to access configuration source(s): Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://projects.gnome.org/gconf/ for information. (Details - 1: Not running within active session)
=========

I guess that the problem is a configuration one, but I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with gconf to solve.

Does anybody know what's the problem?
Is this a serious problem, I mean, would it prevent checkbox from executing correctly?

Best regards,
    Javier

Might it be possible that you encountered this problem while running on moblin? If not, can you reproduce this problem consistently on Ubuntu?

It wasn't moblin. I saw it in Ubuntu Desktop and in UNR. Let me see if I can reproduce it and I'll let you know. Thanks for your help.

Did this happen while using the LiveCD or on an installed system? It appears that this might be a read/write error.
