Bug Description
Hello,
Looking into checkbox logs in different machines (at least three different ones), I've seen the following lines:
=========
Running command: gconftool-2 -R / --config-source xml:readwrite:
Failed to run command: Failed to access configuration source(s): Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See http://
=========
I guess that the problem is a configuration one, but I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with gconf to solve.
Does anybody know what's the problem?
Is this a serious problem, I mean, would it prevent checkbox from executing correctly?
Best regards,
Javier

It wasn't moblin. I saw it in Ubuntu Desktop and in UNR. Let me see if I can reproduce it and I'll let you know. Thanks for your help.

Did this happen while using the LiveCD or on an installed system? It appears that this might be a read/write error.

Might it be possible that you encountered this problem while running on moblin? If not, can you reproduce this problem consistently on Ubuntu?
