Bug Description
Currently, exporter option_lists are a set of boolean flags.
A specific requirement would make it desirable for the XML exporter to accept an arbitrary string as the value for one of the options. This is to be able to pass a "client-name" value to be included in the final report, preferrably by extending this existing mechanism, which would then "bubble up" support for this feature to the rest of the stack.
As an addendum, the xml exporter, which was previously optionless, should accept a "client-name" option.
