Bug Description
The Checkbox text-mode launchers (certify-advanced, etc.) sometimes produce garbled displays (see the attached screen shot; note that the display is constantly updating when this happens). It looks like one or more tests is inappropriately redirecting a binary file to the display. When the offending test(s) finish, the display will return mostly to normal, but a few garbled elements (including the tab name, if run in an X Terminal) may remain. I don't know what specific test(s) is/are producing this problem.

The problem seems to be caused by the miscellanea/ sosreport_ attachment job; deleting that job from /usr/share/ plainbox- provider- checkbox/ units/miscellan ea/test- plan.pxu causes the problem to go away.
Also, the problem seems to occur with certify-advanced, which presents the old menu system for selecting jobs; but when running one of the scripts that does not give the user the ability to select jobs (test-usb), the problem does not occur, even when miscellanea/ sosreport_ attachment is run.
