command output disappears once job finishes

Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
- Start a job that runs some command
- click on 'Output'
- wait for the command to finish
Result:
output view closes automatically
expected behaviour:
output view stays on the screen until user closes it
NOTE: Ouput view should somehow inform whether the command has already finished or not
