Bug Description
"No block devices detected using current configuration" - was thrown as a message on one of my ceph-osd units following a commissioning and redeploy of the node.
How did this message get triggered? - > I forgot to reassign dhcp to the nodes 'ceph-cluster' interface after recommissioning in MAAS, and thus each osd's log for that node was spewing "unable to find any IP address in networks: 10.16.102.0/24" .
Possibly a connectivity check for replication network interfaces, and a subsequent relevant message might make this area more robust and informative.

The no block devices found is shown when the charm can't find any ceph osd processes. Could you upload your juju config and also the debug logs for the unit. That might give us some clues as to what is going on.
