Bug Description

Hello,
This is a request that came from a Bootstack customer. I was advised to open a bug to have someone look into testing this potential implementation.

The request reads as follows:

"I'm wondering if it is possible to configure the worker nodes in our managed CDK cluster to use Amazon's Elastic Container Registry.
ECR is unique in that it only generate temporary credentials and relies on IAM to refresh them every 12 hours.
Is it possible to use ECR on CDK nodes hosted outside the AWS?"

For reference, the customer's salesforce case is 242713.

Could you please evaluate if this is something we could implement?
I understand this will not get immediate prioritization, but would appreciate if you can provide me any additional information on what the course of action would be, so I can set proper expectations with the customer.

Thank you.
