Wishlist: better hardware metrics e.g. temp./thermal

It would be great if the telegraf charm would provide more direct support for gathering hardware characteristics such as chip temperatures.

As Intel processors will go into thermal throttling when reaching too high temperatures this can be informative when investigating performance issues

Telegraf has a redfish[0] plugin that could aid in getting those metrics.

Soon or later, the monitoring system will migrate to COS. Telegraf will be replaced by grafana-agent. Therefore, we won't follow up this new feature request
