datasources config option is not implemented

The datasources configuration option does not seem to have an implementation:

* There's no config.changed.datasources flag used.
* The config_changed function does not look at the datasources config option nor does it change a flag that will trigger a function execution that would use it.
* The only function that gets the datasources config option is validate_datasources but it is not called anywhere in the code.

Would it be possible to have that functionality implemented? Or at least to remove it from the config.yaml file (or add a note saying that it is not implemented) as it might make users think that it can be used.
