Bug Description

There are currently an effort to add support for metrics collection using prometheus-bind-exporter on the bug#1938888, but it's blocked until the prometheus_scrape interface has a designed approved.

While charms are not totally ready to support the new LMA2, I think it would be useful to add nrpe-master-external interface to have some kind of monitoring of this charm.
